Mitigating risks from workplace sabotage

Whist sabotage has historically been a wartime concern, workplace sabotage is increasingly on the rise, driven by factors including grievances, mental health concerns, and involvement of issue motivated groups. Three categories of sabotage are explored (Physical, IT and data sabotage) and presented in the context of sabotage-related offences under Australia’s criminal law, along with a high-level investigation plan.
